TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language, it measures the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. Most Education institutes in US and Canada ask for TOEFL scores.
TOEFL is Internet-based Test which will test Four Language skills that are important for effective communications – speaking, listening, reading and writing.

TOEFL is a regulatory test which determines a person’s Proficiency in spoken English, anyone who is applying to a US university needs to show their scores in TOEFL.
How to apply?
One can apply online or by phone or by mail. The website for TOEFL is www.toefl.org for more information about registration.
